![]() (I want anyone reading this to know I RARELY look at what side someone serves you on but for the price and venue the expectation had been set. They served on the right, and let my friend eat a shortbread that had fallen on the table. I took etiquette classes before and expected to see the wait staff following those guidelines. The mashed potatoes tasted bad, and I am skeptical they were made from real potatoes. My steak looked like it was sitting in a pool of oil. MoreĪs others have said it is expensive for what you get. ![]() If you would like to “experience”, go for it, but we felt it was not worth spending that much money and food quality was not recommendable either. For the price, we were expecting a bit quiet, and romantic couple dinner for New Year’s Eve, but it was pretty noisy. It was also fully packed for the Casa Roma tour, and our seat was near the entrance that connected to the Casa Roma tour course (we made a reservation 3 weeks ago by the way). ![]() We are not big eaters, so we only ordered 2 appetizers, 2 cocktails, and the sea food tower, and paid $375+ including tips, and $15 for parking (do the math!). We didn’t expect big portion of food at all, but for the price, the sea food tower had only 4 pieces of oyster, 4 pieces of shrimp, and then a few pieces of king crab, mostly legs. king crab was over cooked and felt very dry, the oyster was probably tiniest size we’ve seen in any restaurants so far, and the sauce tasted like ketchup mixed with some hot pepper sauce. That’s ok, we still wanted to enjoy the food. We were excited to try out the seafood tower and the one we got was completely different from the image they promoted publicly. However the food quality wasn’t that great. Since Eddie’s introduction in season 4 of Blue Bloods, she and Jamie have had a flirtatious relationship and her saving his life was the impetus for them finally getting together. That, in turn, led to one of the Blue Bloods season finale’s much lighter moments. That family member turns out to be his youngest son Jamie, but luckily his partner Eddie (Vanessa Ray, Pretty Little Liars) manages to intercept the hitman and shoots him dead, saving Jamie’s life. Things get more personal for the Reagan clan when they realize that as Frank was police commissioner when the Prospect Park Six were jailed, one of his family is sure to be on the hitman’s list. This leads to the fatal drive-by shooting of Erin’s boss Monica Graham (Tamara Tunie) alongside other victims. But unlike the real Central Park Five who went on to advocate for criminal justice following their release, a member of Blue Bloods' fictional version – the Prospect Park Six – decides to exact revenge by hiring a hitman to kill family members of the police officers and prosecutors responsible for their arrest and wrongful imprisonment. On the police procedural side of things, the episode took inspiration from the real-life case of the Central Park Five, who were wrongfully imprisoned for a crime they didn’t commit and spent years behind bars until they were exonerated more than a decade later. The Blue Bloods season 8 finale “My Aim Is True” was a mix of those two elements. The show is a blend of the police procedural genre and family drama and over its nine seasons, viewers have seen the Reagan brood tackle not only New York City crime but also issues within their personal lives too. Blue Bloods aired its first season in 2010 and is still going strong nearly a decade later, with its recently renewed tenth season set to air in late September 2019.
